Mega Millions is a draw game with two drawings each week, and the game has prizes that range from $10 all the way up to the jackpot. The jackpot starts at $50 million and keeps growing until someone wins. When the jackpot hits, it can be won by one lucky player or shared by multiple winners.

How to play Mega Millions

• Pick the numbers that you want to play! Grab a playslip, and choose five numbers (1–70) plus one Mega Ball number (1–24)—those six numbers set you on the path for a chance to win.
• Don’t want to choose your own numbers? Go for Easy Pick, and let the computer pick your numbers.
• Mixing it up is fun too! Choose your favorite numbers, and let the computer fill in the rest.
• Each play costs $5.

Built-In Multiplier

• Every Mega Millions play includes a Multiplier at no extra cost.
• The Multiplier is randomly assigned when you purchase a play, so you don’t know what the Multiplier is until you purchase a play.
• The Multiplier ranges from 2X to 10X and can multiply any nonjackpot prize.

Play Options

• Multi-Draw means more drawings! Love your numbers? Lock them in for up to 26 consecutive draws in-store or 52 online. The ticket price grows with each draw you add.
• Focused on the future? Planning for a lucky date? Opt for Future Play—available at retail stores only.
• Ready to repeat? Can’t get enough of those digits? Repeat your play up to 20 times on separate tickets—also retail only.
