How to play Bank a Million

• To play Bank a Million, you choose six different numbers from 1 through 40 on your playslip. The Bonus Ball is not selected by the player but is drawn during each drawing.
• Each Bank a Million play costs $2, and you decide how to divide your wager and which prize level to try to win. For example, you can choose:
• Two $1 plays, which gives you two chances to win up to $500,000
• Four 50¢ plays, which gives you four chances to win up to $250,000
• The total cost of your play must equal $2. If you want to do one play for $2, that’s the play that gives you the chance to win up to $1,000,000.
• You also could use Easy Pick to let the computer choose your numbers, or mix and match by picking some numbers yourself and letting the computer select the rest.

Play Options

Bank a Million gives you flexibility when you play.

• With Multi‑Draw, you can play the same numbers for up to 26 consecutive drawings on a single ticket. The ticket price increases with each additional draw.
• Planning ahead? Choose a Future Play, and purchase a ticket for one upcoming draw date by marking your playslip and letting the clerk know your selection.
• If you really love your numbers, Repeat Play lets you print the same numbers on up to 20 tickets. When submitting your playslip, be sure to tell the clerk which options you’d like. Your ticket price will reflect the number of Bank a Million draws you’ve chosen to play.

Winning

You can win $1,000,000 by matching all six numbers. The amount you win depends on how much you wager and how many balls you match. For example, you can win by getting just two balls and the Bonus Ball right. Check out the chart below for all eight ways to win a prize in the VA Lottery Bank a Million game.

Note: Play Your Way allows you to control your wager and choose which top prize you want to win - $1,000,000, $500,000 or $250,000. You can choose to wager $2 on one set of numbers, $1 on two sets of numbers or 50¢ on four sets of numbers. No split bets are allowed. In other words, you can’t wager $1 on one set of numbers and then 50¢ on two other sets of numbers. Each wager amount must total $2.

We draw six balls between 1 and 40. The seventh ball, the Bonus Ball, gets drawn even though you don't select it.

After the draw, check to see if the Bonus Ball number that we've drawn appears within the set of six numbers on your ticket. If it does, you've matched the Bonus Ball! Check the prize chart to see how much you may have won.
