Four Virginia teachers were selected in the drawing!

The seventh annual Virginia Lottery Thank a Teacher campaign concluded in early June with four winner presentations. During these presentations, the Lottery surprised four teachers across the commonwealth!

Roumario Bector, world history teacher at Rock Ridge High School in Ashburn

Sabrina Kelly, fourth grade teacher at Hardy Elementary School in Smithfield

Courtney Bishop, first grade teacher at Midway Elementary School in Church Road

Terri Vangelos, librarian at G.W. Carver Elementary School in Salem

Each teacher won a Virginia vacation, a gift card and $2,500 in supplies for the teacher’s school. These prizes are provided by the Virginia Lottery and partners The Supply Room, IGT and NeoPollard Interactive.

Teachers submitted a unique code from thank-you notes they received from the public during National Teacher Appreciation Week in May for a chance to win one of the four prize packages.
