what if I win?

If you win fewer than $100 with an online subscription, your winnings will automatically be deposited into your account. We’ll send you an email confirmation.

If you win more than $100, file a claim on our handy online subscription application to collect your winnings. But don’t worry. We’ll send you email notifications to let you know exactly what you need to do to claim your big win.  

Just don’t wait too long to claim a big win. All wins must be claimed 180 days after the drawing occurs.

Purchasing an online subscription to Mega Millions only takes two steps.

1. Just click any Mega Millions Play Now button to get started.
2. Choose one of the Easy Pick boxes for a set of plays with randomly selected numbers OR  choose Build My Own to create your own plays by selecting five white ball numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 25.

You can purchase a subscription for up to 104 drawings (one year) and you can also add Megaplier for an extra $1 per play - which could multiply your non-jackpot prize by 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x.

Once you’ve made your choices, you can review your plays prior to checkout.

Mega Millions draws occur every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.

You can purchase a subscription for up to 104 drawings (one year) and you can also add Power Play^® for an extra $1 per play - which could multiply your non-jackpot prize by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x.

Once you’ve made your choices, you can review your plays prior to checkout.

Powerball draws occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.

Cash4Life^®

Cash4Life^® is about to experience an exciting change!

Starting July 2, Cash4Life® will be moving from the current Monday/Thursday drawings to daily draws! That means more opportunities to play and more opportunities to win!

As a result, starting after the draw on April 1, 2019, the availability to purchase future draws on valottery.com for Cash4Life® will decrease continually by one draw until June 20, 2019. Future draw options will be available when the game changes on July 2, 2019.
