The entry deadline for the drawing is 11:59:59 p.m. E.T. on the date listed under the Entry Deadline heading above. In the drawing, 20 players each will win $1,000 plus 40 $5 Scratchers.

Here are the eligible RED draw games. Players may purchase the following draw games online or at retail. If purchasing at retail, a player must scan the draw game ticket barcode to earn the necessary RED punch on a punch card. Winning and non-winning tickets of eligible games can generate a card punch.

Color Quest Punch Card Promotion Registration, Log in and Entry

• How do I enter the Color Quest Punch Card Promotion? 
  To enter this promotion, you must have a Virginia Lottery account, be logged in to your account and opt in to this promotion. Once you opt in, the first punch card will be unlocked in your account. The objective is to complete punch cards to get a drawing entry or entries. To complete a punch card, you must play eligible games and, in the case of Scratchers, Print ‘n Play and retail draw games, scann the tickets into your account (prior to claiming any prize won on the ticket). 
   

• My password is not accepted when I try to log in. What's wrong? 
  Most likely, you haven't opened a Virginia Lottery account. You'll need to open an account to enter your Scratcher(s). Click Register in the top-right corner of this page to register. Onceyou’vecompleted registration, click the Continue button.

• I forgot my password. What should I do? 
  Click Login in the top-right corner of any valottery.com page, and follow the instructions to have your password emailed to you. You'll need to use the original email address you used to open your account even if it is no longer current. 

• Where do I find the barcode that I am supposed to scan to enter the ticket? 
  You will need to use the ticket-scanning function in the Lottery app or on the mobile web version of valottery.com to scan the eligible Scratcher, Print ‘n Play or retail draw game ticket’s barcode. The ticket-scanning function uses your mobile device’s camera to scan the ticket. 

• How will my eligible online-game purchases or online draw-game purchases be recorded? 
  When you play an eligible online game or eligible online draw game, your purchase will be reflected on your punch card automatically. There will be a delay between the purchase and when it is reflected on the punch card. 

• I received a message that says my ticket has already been entered. How can that be if I have the ticket in my possession, and what should I do? 
  First, check your list of previously submitted entries to verify that the ticket has not been previously entered by you. If it has not, please contact the Lottery by filling out the email form on our Contact Us page. Include all applicable numbers that you tried to enter, and the Virginia Lottery will investigate. 
   

• May I enter a drawing more than once? 
  In the promotion, the number of times you can enter the drawing is based upon the number of punch cards you complete.
  

• I have tickets, but I can't remember whether I have entered them into the drawing. How can I see which tickets have been entered? 
  Each time you submit a ticket, a record of the entry appears in your list of entries at the bottom of the page where you submitted your tickets. All your entries are in that list, so you may cross-reference that list with the tickets you are holding. 
   

• May I dispose of the tickets after I have entered them? 
  Yes. For this promotion, you do not need to keep your Scratcher, Print ‘n Play, or retail draw game tickets once you have successfully submitted them. 
   

• Do I need to be a Virginia resident to enter this Virginia Lottery promotion? 
  No. There are no restrictions for out-of-state players. Anyone who is eligible to purchase Virginia Lottery tickets is eligible to participate in this promotion. 

• How do I find out if I have been selected as a winner? 
  Winners become official once we've verified they qualify. We check age, identification and entry-form validity. We will contact winners directly to explain how to claim a prize. 

• I completed several punch cards for this promotion. Why didn't I win a prize? 
  The odds of winning a prize in this promotion depend on the total number of entries received. 

Color Quest Punch Card Promotion Official Rules

• The promotional entry period begins on October 1, 2026. The entry deadline is October 31, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. 
• Winning and non-winning eligible Scratchers, Print ‘n Play games and draw game tickets/plays can be used to generate a required GREEN (Scratchers), BLUE (Print ‘n Play) or RED (draw games) punch on a punch card. 
• Ticket entries for this promotion are accepted only through the mobile version of valottery.com or the Lottery mobile app and only via scanning the ticket’s barcode. 
• A player also can earn an ORANGE, YELLOW or PURPLE card punch by playing an eligible online game. 
• A player must opt in to this promotion in the player's Virginia Lottery account. Only a player who has not reached the monthly earned-points limit (10,000 points) for the Rewards program will be eligible to participate in this promotion. 
• If a player completes any punch card or cards before hitting the 10,000-point limit, any entry or entries generated from the completed card or cards will be valid and will be included in the drawing. 
• This promotion is open to players 18 years of age or older. Players may be required to provide proof of date of birth. 
• To complete a punch card, a player must play one eligible game from all six color families—RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE and PURPLE. 
• Players do not need to retain Scratchers, Print ‘n Play tickets or retail draw-game tickets once they have been scanned and entered. 
• A player is eligible to win only one (1) prize in the drawing. 
• All entries submitted have an equal chance of winning a prize. 
• Odds of winning a prize in this promotion depend on the total number of entries received.
• The Virginia Lottery will not be responsible for entries submitted incorrectly or received before the entry start date or after the end date. Such entries shall be deemed invalid. 
• We try to contact winners by email, phone and/or mail. If you want us to reach you quickly, be sure your contact information is up to date in your Virginia Lottery account. If we can't reach a winner by the deadline listed in the rules, we will then move on to an alternate.

• If a player completes one punch card, the next punch card will be automatically unlocked, and the filled punch card will disappear. Each completed punch card gets a player one drawing entry. There is no limit on the number of punch cards a player can complete.
• After purchasing a Scratcher, a Print ‘n Play ticket or a retail draw game ticket, the player must scan the ticket barcode into the player’s Virginia Lottery account (before claiming any prize won) to be counted for the Color Quest Punch Card Promotion.
• Players cannot redeem Rewards points to get an entry/entries into this promotion’s drawing. A player who participates in the Color Quest Punch Card Promotion can receive Rewards points for purchased or played games if the player has not reached the monthly earned-points limit of 10,000 points for the Rewards program.
