Each Emma's Adventure™ game starts with 44 symbols and five Cabinets in the play area.

Here’s how the game works:

1. You have 15 moves in total in the Main Game. In each move, swap the places of two adjacent symbols to create a match of three or more. Any matched symbols will be removed. For each removal, new symbols will enter the board again. If there are no possible moves to be made, new symbols will be drawn for the whole board.
2. Creating a match next to a locked Cabinet will open one of its four locks. If all locks have been opened, the next adjacent match will open the Cabinet and the items revealed will be placed on the Shelves. Once a Shelf is filled with items, you win the corresponding prize amount.
3. If you find four keys inside the Cabinets, you will unlock the Bonus Game, which will start after you have completed the Main Game. In the Bonus Game, you will have a new game board and 10 moves to unlock the new Cabinets. Three new Shelves with bonus prize amounts will be added above Emma. The Bonus Game Cabinets could reveal items to complete a shelf prize.
4. The game features special match combinations that activate special effects.
   • Match 4 in a column: clears an entire horizontal row.
   • Match 4 in a row: clears an entire vertical column.
   • Match 4 in a square: removes single random symbols all around the board.
   • Match 5 in a column or in a row: clears all symbols of the same type as the symbol in the match from the board.
   • Match 5 in T or L shape: clears symbols around the match in a 3x3, 5x5 or 7x7 square sweep.
5. In addition to the regular symbols, one or more Special Chests could appear on the board. You cannot remove a Special Chest by making matches. When a Special Chest reaches the bottom of the board, it will open and reveal items inside.
6. During the game, a Frog, a Ferret or a Bird could appear next to Emma. If you create a special match combination while one or more animals are visible, each animal will activate its own special effect. Emma could also help by blowing a dandelion. The special effects of each are as follows:
   • Frog: shoots water at the board and removes 2x2 squares of symbols.
   • Ferret: enters the board from one side and removes all symbols in its path until it exits the board.
   • Bird: creates colored notes that hit symbols to remove them.
   • Dandelion: seeds randomly remove symbols or hit Cabinets to unlock on lock.
