Spring Sham-rock! Promotion Registration and Logging in

• How do I enter the Spring Sham-rock! Promotion?
  To enter this promotion, you must have a Virginia Lottery account, be a Virginia Lottery Rewards member and be logged in to your account. Once you are logged in, scan the Shamrock 7s Scratcher (Game #2391) (prior to claiming any prize won on the Scratcher) into Virginia Lottery Rewards. That’s all you must do to enter the promotion.  
• My password is not being accepted when I try to log in. What's wrong?
  Most likely, you haven't opened a Virginia Lottery account. You'll need to open an account to enter this promotion. Click Sign Up in the top-right corner of any valottery.com page to register. Once completed, click the Continue button.
• I forgot my password. What should I do?
  Click Login in the top-right corner of any valottery.com page, and follow the instructions to have your password emailed to you. You'll need to use the original email address you used to open your account even if it is no longer current.
• Where do I find the barcode that I am supposed to scan to enter the ticket?
  

  

  You will need to use the ticket-scanning function in the Lottery app or on the mobile web version of valottery.com to scan the eligible Scratcher’s barcode. The ticket-scanning function uses your mobile device’s camera to scan the ticket.
• I received a message that says my ticket has already been entered. How can that be if I have the ticket in my possession, and what should I do?
  First, check your list of previously submitted entries to verify that the ticket has not been previously entered by you. If it has not, please contact the Lottery by filling out the email form on our Contact Us page. Include all applicable numbers that you tried to enter, and the Virginia Lottery will investigate.
• May I enter a drawing more than once?
  Yes. In this promotion, the number of times you enter a drawing is based upon the number of eligible Shamrock 7s Scratchers you scan into Virginia Lottery Rewards. You will receive one drawing entry for each eligible Scratcher that is scanned. A player can enter up to 50 times in one day.
• I have tickets, but I can't remember whether I have entered them into the drawing. How can I see which tickets have been entered?
  Each time you submit a ticket, a record of the entry appears in your list of entries at the bottom of the page where you submitted your tickets. All your entries are in that list, so you may cross-reference that list with the tickets you are holding.
• May I dispose of the tickets after I have entered them?
  Yes. For this promotion, you do not need to keep your Scratcher(s) once you have successfully submitted the Scratcher(s).
• Do I need to be a Virginia resident to enter this Virginia Lottery promotion?
  No. There are no restrictions for out-of-state players. Anyone who is eligible to purchase Virginia Lottery tickets is eligible to participate in this promotion.

• How do I find out if I have been selected as a winner?
  For all drawings, an unofficial list of winners will be posted on our website no more than five (5) business days after each drawing. Winners become official once we've verified they qualify. We check age, identification and entry validity. We will contact winners directly to explain how to claim a prize.
• Why didn't I win a prize in the drawing?
  The odds of winning a prize in this promotion depend on the total number of entries received.

• The entry deadline is April 19, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
• A winning or nonwinning Shamrock 7s Scratcher (Game #2391) purchased during the promotional period can be used to enter the promotion.

• Ticket entries for this promotion are accepted only through the mobile version of valottery.com or the Lottery mobile app and only via scanning the ticket’s barcode.
• Only a player who has not reached the monthly earned-points limit (10,000 points) for the Rewards program will be eligible to participate in this promotion.
• This promotion is open to players 18 years of age or older. Players may be required to provide proof of date of birth.
• Players do not need to retain the Scratcher(s) once the player has successfully scanned the Scratcher(s) into Virginia Lottery Rewards.
• A player is eligible to win only one (1) prize in the drawing.
• All entries submitted have an equal chance of winning a prize.
• Odds of winning a prize in this promotion depend on the number of entries received.
