Virginia’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle
is the new limited-edition game that plays like most raffles – with some huge prizes!

held to randomly select the following winners:

When will the drawing take place and how will I know the winning numbers?
Virginia’s New Year's Millionaire Raffle drawing will take place on January 1, 2010. Complete results of the 309 winning raffle numbers will be posted here at 2pm January 1, via text message at 82568 (standard text rates apply) or call our player hotline at 804-662-5825.
How do I play Virginia’s New Year's Millionaire Raffle?
At any Virginia Lottery retailer that sells games through the lottery terminal. The Raffle’s 330,000 tickets will be sold in sequential order (from 330000 to 000001) until sold out. One
set of raffle numbers will appear on each ticket you buy. There are no playslips for Millionaire Raffle. You do not choose your raffle numbers. There will be only one raffle drawing. KEEP
your ticket until after the drawing – you’ll need a ticket with a winning number to claim a prize. Each Virginia’s New Year's Millionaire Raffle ticket costs $20.
How many winners will there be?
309 people will win cash prizes:

Three - $1,000,000 winners

Six - $25,000 winners

300 - $500 winners.
How will the winning raffle tickets be selected?
The Virginia Lottery is very serious about the security and integrity of our games. Winning Raffle Numbers will be selected by a computerized random number generator. The random number generator software has been certified using widely accepted statistical analysis formulas by an outside gaming device and systems testing laboratory.

As with all Virginia Lottery drawings, representatives of the Virginia Lottery’s Security Department and an external auditor will be present to conduct and certify the drawing.
How will I know if I won?
If the six-digit Raffle number on your ticket matches one of the six-digit winning Raffle numbers in EXACTLY THE SAME ORDER, you are a winner.
