Scratch the box marked YOUR 18 LETTERS in the lower-right part of the ticket.
In the CROSSWORD puzzle, lightly scratch only the letters that match the letters in YOUR 18 LETTERS. For example, if there is a “T” in YOUR 18 LETTERS, scratcher every “T” in the crossword puzzle. Letters that you scratch will turn white.
To complete a word in the puzzle, all letters in the word must match one of YOUR 18 LETTERS on that ticket. If you complete at least 3 words, you win a prize as shown in the prize key on the lower-left part of that ticket. All completed words must be horizontal or vertical. Horizontal words must read left to right; vertical words must read top to bottom. Top prize is $15,000.
Crossword Details
A word cannot be completed by linking letters diagonally or by reading the letters from right to left or top to bottom.
Letters in a completed word must appear in an unbroken horizontal or vertical sequence on the crossword puzzle.
All completed words must contain at least 3 letters and must completely fill an entire word’s column or row.
To form a complete word, you must match all letters in that word to letters in YOUR 18 LETTERS. Secondary words found in a word such as CANDY (CAN, A, AN) are not completed words because they do not contain 3 letters and they do not completely fill the column or row.
Only the highest prize won will be paid per ticket.

*Retail sales have ended for this game
When a player claims the last top prize in any Scratcher game, the Lottery notifies retailers immediately to stop sales of the game. In games with merchandise prizes such as motorcycles, cars, trucks or trips, the final top prize may be the last top merchandise item. The Claim Deadline (last date to claim prizes) is based on the OFFICIAL closing of a Scratcher game. Scratcher games are officially closed on a periodic basis by order of the Virginia Lottery Executive Director. The Claim Deadline is 180 days after the official game closing. If there is no Claim Deadline noted below the Start Date on this Web page, it means that the official closing date and the claim deadline have not been set, even though sales of this game have ended.
