The Virginia Lottery, in partnership with the Virginia PTA, is proud to sponsor the “Super Teacher” Awards with prizes donated by the Lottery and The Supply Room Companies.

The “Super Teacher” Awards will honor outstanding Virginia public school teachers and thank them for their dedication and commitment. Through this program, the Lottery recognizes educators who go the extra mile each day to serve his or her students and their communities.

Eight (8) Grand Prize Winners: There will be one (1) winning teacher per region, for the following eight (8) regions: Richmond, Alexandria, Norfolk, Petersburg, Winchester, Roanoke, Abingdon, and Charlottesville. The Grand Prize Winner in each region will receive $2,000 credit with The Supply Room Companies to outfit his or her classroom as well as a $2,000 check from the Virginia Lottery in recognition of selfless dedication to his or her students.

Three (3) Secondary Prize Winners: All teachers who are nominated but not selected as one of the eight Grand Prize Winners will be eligible to win a $500.00 Visa check card from the Virginia Lottery through a random drawing.
